Eval Design Studio ("we," "us," "our," "the Studio") built evaldesignstudio.com to be worth trusting with your information. This page explains, plainly, what we collect across this site, why, and what we do (and don't do) with it.
Information you give us directly. If you submit an interest or collaboration form (for example, on our Creative Collaborations or Issue Area Networks pages), we collect what you provide (typically your name, email address, organization, and details about your project or interest) so we can respond to you.
Account information. If you're a client or collaborator with access to our portal, we store your name, email address, and which portals you have access to, and we use Google's Firebase service to authenticate your sign-in. Access is granted by invitation; we don't offer open account registration.
Automatically collected usage data. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, including which pages are visited, general device and browser information, and approximate location at the city level (derived from your IP address, not GPS). This data is aggregated by Google and isn't tied to your name or contact information unless you separately give it to us.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, for any reason.
We share information only with the service providers that help us run this site and our work — currently Google (Analytics and Firebase authentication/data storage) and Resend (transactional email delivery) — and only to the extent needed for them to provide that service. We don't share your information with data brokers, advertisers, or any other third party for their own purposes.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish you from other visitors across a session. We don't use any other tracking or advertising cookies. You can block or clear cookies through your browser's settings at any time; the site will still work, though Analytics won't be able to recognize repeat visits.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us at the address below. If you'd like to opt out of Google Analytics specifically, Google offers a browser opt-out add-on.
This site is intended for a professional audience and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If how we handle information changes in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and revise the date at the top.
